Pigs in Blankets Automation
Having undertaken many design & build projects, once described as the ‘Holy Grail’ of the meat industry, we are proud to present our long awaited ‘PIB AutoRoll System’.
This we believe to be the best solution for mass manufacturing of ‘pigs in blankets’, wrapping meat product around sausages, cheese, or effectively any cylindrical component.
PIB AutoRoll System
- The AutoRoll System marshal loose frozen cocktails from an inspection conveyor into a rolling head via a vibration conveyor & air actuators.
- The rolling head is simultaneously fed sliced bacon via a band knife slicing system for wrapping around the cocktail in our patent-applied for rolling head.
- With correct material specifications, our standard frozen cocktail machine can produce in excess of 2800 PIB’s per hour.
- Chilled cocktail wrapping option currently under manufacture – due April 2023.
- Chipolata cocktail wrapping option currently under development.
- We have a 7 lane machine in our Westbury workshop available for trials & development on meat, dairy or plant-based components.
